proceed via the subpage SpatialChat.
Dear colleagues,
with regret we have to inform you about the decision that the Meeting of the German Geophysical Society 7.-10. March 2022 will be hosted as online meeting. Given the current situation with the pandemic, this decision was taken early to allow better planning for participants, exhibitors, and the organization.
The annual Meeting is the "soul" of the German Geophysical Society. Therefore this decision was not taken easily. However, the responsibility for health and safety for all involved has priority.
We intend to offer an interesting, informative and interactive online experience for DGG2022, by combining tools of smartabstract and SpatialChat,
a video platform already used at AGU Fall Meeting 2021. Above plenary talks, there will be several rooms of poster sessions, exhibitions and space for personal encounter. Besides plenary talks,
the only option to present are posters that are extended by short live-poster-introductions.
Detailed information on the video platform are provided at: SpatialChat. Further instructions on the usage and our virtuell conference space will be provided here soon.
Despite the circumstances, we are looking forward to "seeing" you at our virtuell conference this March.
